St. Hugh's Is The School For You

At St. Hugh’s Preparatory School, we cater to boys and girls between the ages of four and twelve, beginning with Kindergarten 1 for three-year-olds. At St. Hugh’s Prep, we offer a well-balanced curriculum that includes both academic and non-academic subjects, guided by our mission to support the holistic development of every child. We proudly provide learning opportunities for students with learning disabilities, as well as those who are ordinarily and extraordinarily talented.

At St. Hugh’s Prep, we are administered by a voluntary Board of Governors appointed on the recommendation of the Education and Youth Board of the Anglican Diocese in the Province of the West Indies, under whose aegis the school was established. We value the active involvement of our vibrant Parent-Teacher Association, which, along with the Board of Governors, supports the smooth and effective operation of the school.

At St. Hugh’s Prep, we are led by our principal and a team of highly qualified, dedicated educators who are committed to maintaining excellence and staying current with the latest developments in education. We ensure that all class teachers are fully trained, with assistant teachers supporting every class. Through the combined efforts of our full-time and part-time specialist teachers, including Music and Spanish, we instill positive values and nurture the development of confident, well-rounded individuals.
